English Language Quick Tip

Here’s a quick tip for all you guys out there learning English as a second language …. 

When you learn a new word, learn the word with it’s associated article. For example:

Instead of learning “station” learn it as “the station“ 

Instead of learning “dog” learn it as “a dog” or “the dog“ 

 

By learning new vocabulary words like this, when it comes to putting it all together in sentences, you will find it much easier to put in the correct preposition and article. Again, for example.

“Where is the station?” or “I have a dog”

New Month … New Textbook

I am VERY pleased to announce that from October 2008 (our teaching month begins on 6 October) we shall be using a new textbook.
