Wednesday Update
September 12, 2007Recently the BBC has been launching a number of ‘podcasts’ on their learn English website and these are really good for those people who do not have a great deal of time to study English outside the class room.
Here is a summary of the best 3 I have found so far.
1. Let’s Talk About English – I have not had time to listen to this one yet, but from the review it covers pretty much all parts of learning English.
2. How To Learn English – I gave you this one last week, but I cannot emphasise enough – it is a fantastic podcast and ONLY 6 minutes long!! No excuse for you busy people (발리 발리병 안이요!!
3. Learn English – This one is for all you students who understand Chinese as it is designed for Chinese students of English – Very interesting ^^
So, there you go – All you need to help you learn English outside of the classroom
Finally, it is ver sad to hear that Anita Roddick, the founder of “The Body Shop” died last Monday. Anita Roddick was an amazing business woman and her legacy is that we can all learn from her business brilliance. Check out this report from the BBC on her life and business strategy.
That;s it for today. I hope you are all having a great week and that you have all received your welcome email – if you have not, tell your teacher and we will have resent out to you.
