Real English Interview Questions
Many of people are always asking me what kind of question will be asked in an English interview. The truth is I do not know. Each interviewer has his or her favourite questions and it is difficult to predict what questions they will ask.
But if you are being interviewed for a foreign company, then here are a selection of questions that are highly likely to come up:
Tell me something about yourself
What do you see as your strengths?
Would you say that you have strong leadership abilities?
Tell me something about your skills and abilities
What makes you feel you would be good at ….?
What kind of experience do you have?
Could you explain what you mean by ….?
I want to strongly stress that you must be careful of some Korean websites that give you a list of ‘possible’ interview questions. Many of these sites translate questions you would be asked in Korean by a Korean interviewer. You MUST remember, there is a very big cultural difference between what a Korean interviewer will ask you and what a native English speaker would ask you.
I want to draw your attention to a fantastic website I came across recently – The name of the website is “Squidoo.com” – Basically it is a networking website designed to help people and companies to get their ideas out into the big wide open world. You can create an account (free) and set up a page about you, or anything.
So if you have anything to say – create an account at Squidoo.
Well, that’s it for Monday news. Have a great week and see you all in class
