
Making the Impossible Possible & Customer Care

I know I write a lot about Apple, and for those regular readers of this blog who find this a bit boring I apologise. However, I am interested in what makes successful companies successful and I want to share these success tips with you all.
Recently Apple reduced the price on their iPhones by $200.00. This comes 4 months after the launch of the iPhone. Naturally this upset a lot of iPhone customers and there have been a lot of newspaper reports on how unfair this move was.
In an attempt to stop this bad publicity – the CEO of Apple wrote a personal letter on the Apple website to all iPhone customers who paid the full price.

I think the lesson we can all learn from this situation is that no matter how big your company is, if you make a mistake you should always apologise and make right your mistake.
